Site Construction
Sports fields require tighter grading tolerances than either general landscaping or golf courses and running tracks require a far greater level of finish than typical road work. The quality of your sports surface is dependent on the quality of the foundation and site work. A stabilized foundation, proper drainage and precise grading are all critical to your sports field or running track. Paragon Sports employs its own experienced and specialized crews and owns its own laser guided equipment so we can control the work product and schedule.
Turf and Installation
Paragon Sports does not manufacture our own turf, instead we partner with the experts that do. While our crews have installed nearly every major brand of turf, we partner with those turf companies that have a proven record for quality, invest in research and development, and are on the leading edge of turf technology.
Installation isn’t just rolling out carpet. Each field marking, number, logo and hash mark is cut out and laid into the turf and individually sewn or glued to the base. Then the proper ratio of sand/rubber infill has to be carefully and precisely raked through the fibers to ensure maximum traction for your athletes and proper drainage of water to keep your sporting events on schedule.
Track surfacing
Much like the turf side of our business, Paragon Sports does not produce our own polyurethane but we partner with the experts that do. We use only the highest quality materials from those manufacturers that specialize in rubber and binding materials. We own the finest track surfacing machines available and our specialized track crews have significant experience with base mat construction, structural spray, full-pour and broadcast systems.
